We all scream

You know what's what about the South?

People from the South are some of the nicest people you have ever met.
True story.

You know what else?
People from the South love their food.

I forget if I have mentioned this before
but there is a donut shop on every corner.
Awesome.

And then there is Blue Bell Ice Cream.
Oh Blue Bell.
If you have had it you know what I am talking about.

We toured the Blue Bell factory over the break.
I got to see them make the ice cream.
You get a free scoop at the end.
Plus, on the drive we ran into the outlet mall.

I'm pretty sure all those reasons make the hour and a half on way trip totally worth it.

The only thing the trip was lacking?
An actual camera. Cell phones don't count.

It must be like Aggie ice cream, from Utah State. Nothing quite so delicious, and well worth the hour and a half drive. I just wish there were an outlet mall to make it even MORE fantastic. You. are. so. lucky.

I've always wanted to taste that ice cream because I've heard so many people talk about it.

Some day, I will!

I miss this ice cream every day!! I am so jealous. I loved Cake batter flavor. We never toured the factory when we lived not too far away. I wish we would have!

Oh my goodness, I did not realize Blue Bell was a treat from the south. I will not be taking it for granted anymore. Delicious.

In my dreamiest of dreams, when I think about, "hmmm, what SHALL I do with the rest of my life?" and when I think that the idea of ever purchasing a home seems out of reach I hear a gentle voice calling to me with the answer...." h-o-u-s-t-o-n." I now understand why. Everything you just said is my favorite thing to do. Everyday.

Blue Bell is most definitely the best ice cream ever. I wish we hadn't finished off our carton! even though it's 5:35 am, I could go for a bowl of it right now.

Cameras are over-rated.

I have such good memories of going to the Blue Bell factory as a child and getting the scoop of ice cream at the end. I'm glad you got to experience that!

I would have loved to go on this trip with you! Did you know it is a Sarager tradition to introduce the new baby in the family to ice cream by the age of one month old? Yes, it's true! And it is the Sarager man who does the introductions!
